Purgatory is the place between heaven and hell. People believe it's where you wait once you die before you enter heaven. This if for people who didn't live a life of automatic acceptance into heaven and must wait before they can enter.

When about to be confirmed by the bishop he asks you 3 questions:

1. Do you reaffirm you renounce evil?
2. Do you renew your commitment to Jesus Christ?
3. Do you put your whole trust in his grace and love?
